Is it Okay to Rebond Hair after Coloring?

Rebond with Hair Color satisfied customer thumbs up

»All hair treatment is risky if not done properly. Half do agree and half disagree about the service of rebond and hair color on the same day plus the keratin Brazilian blowout.

» The question is “Can I rebond my hair after coloring?” the answer is NO!. Your hair needs to take a rest for 2 to 4 weeks to recover before doing the other treatment.

» T

If your hair is damaged, you need to wait at least weeks before the second treatment but of course…

» Consult us before availing of the service so Chachi will know what’s the best process for your hair.

» Chachi needs to check if your hair can withstand the treatment and coloring on the same day.

Does it Stress your Hair and Dry out?

» If the process is not done properly or uses strong chemicals, it can result in drying out your hair or worse your hair becomes rubberized and damaged.

» So that’s why only professional hairdressers can do rebond with hair color service and avoid doing DIY to prevent the catastrophe.

Please Note: While this treatment offers incredible results, it’s not suitable for all hair types. A thorough assessment by a professional stylists(me) will determine if this service is the right choice for you.

How do you take care of Rebonded Colored Hair?

» After the process, I recommend to not to wash your hair for 3 days.

» It allows the chemically restructured bonds to stabilize, ensuring the treatment’s effectiveness and maintaining the hair’s straightness.

» During this period, natural scalp oils condition the hair, although you might experience some oiliness or discomfort due to oil buildup and a feeling of uncleanliness.

» This waiting phase is crucial for the longevity of the results, balancing between treatment durability and personal scalp comfort.

» After 3 days, Use only:

LUXE ORGANIX Bye Brass Purple Conditioner

LUXE ORGANIX Bye Brass Purple Shampoo

» For anti-fading of color.

Frequently Asked Questions

» A Rebond with Hair Color and Keratin Brazilian Blowout is a combined hair treatment that includes chemically straightening your hair to a sleek, flat appearance while also adding your desired hair color. Following these treatments, a Keratin Brazilian Blowout is performed, which infuses protein back into the hair, sealing in the color and leaving your hair smooth, shiny, and frizz-free.

» The entire process can take anywhere from 3 to 6 hours, depending on the length and thickness of your hair, as well as the specific treatments being applied. It’s a detailed process that should not be rushed to ensure the best results.

» The results of the rebonding and color can last anywhere from 4 to 6 months, while the smoothing effects of the Keratin Brazilian Blowout typically last 2 to 4 months. The longevity of the results will also depend on how well you take care of your hair post-treatment.

» It is not recommended to color your hair immediately after these treatments. It’s best to color your hair during the process, as outlined in our service. If you want to change your hair color later, it’s advisable to wait for a period recommended by your stylist, usually at least two weeks

» Yes, aftercare is crucial for maintaining the results of your treatments. Avoid washing your hair for the first few days after the treatment, do not tie or pin your hair up to prevent kinks, use sulfate-free shampoos, and limit the use of heat styling tools. I will provide a detailed aftercare plan for you. check here

» Yes, hair that is excessively damaged, overly processed, or extremely fragile may not be suitable for these treatments. A consultation with a stylist will determine the best course of action for such hair types.

» Consider the maintenance level, the commitment to the style, and the health of your hair. Discuss any concerns with me as your stylist, such as previous color treatments or hair conditions that might affect the outcome.

» It’s best to consult with your healthcare provider and your stylist. While there’s no direct evidence that suggests these treatments are harmful, it’s generally advised to err on the side of caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

» Make your hair in its natural state, free from products like hair sprays or serums. It’s also helpful to have photos of the desired color and style you are aiming for.
